Welcome to Kauwri. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of our products. By accessing this website or making a purchase, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Product Information

  • All Kauwri pieces are handcrafted in Kenya and may have slight variations in finish, texture, or color. These are natural features of handmade items and are not considered defects.

  • We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through photos and descriptions, but cannot guarantee exact color accuracy due to screen differences.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All orders must be paid in full before dispatch.

  • For custom or made-to-order pieces, please allow additional production time.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

3. Shipping

  • We ship both locally within Kenya and internationally.

  • Orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch. Delivery time may vary depending on destination and customs processing.

  • Kauwri is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • We accept returns only if you contact us within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving your order.

  • Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.

  • Custom or personalized orders are final sale and not eligible for return unless damaged on arrival.

5.Re plating Service

  • Our brass jewelry is plated in gold or silver and is intended to last 15–24 months with proper care.

  • We offer one-time free re plating within that time frame if plating fades under normal conditions.

  • After that, a small fee will apply depending on the size and intricacy of the piece.

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to re plating services.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, images, text, logos, and other content on the Kauwri website are the intellectual property of Kauwri and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our written permission.

7. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy. Any personal information provided during your visit or purchase is used solely to process your order and communicate with you.

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
